We know that Deckmedia has previously operated using a Curacao licence, but a check of the home page shows no evidence of any licensing credentials. We have been able to establish that Deckmedia either still holds its licence or is in the process of renewing it, although it would be understandable if some players were reluctant to use the site until this has been confirmed.

Ripper Casino was established in 2021 and as the name suggests is aimed at an Australian audience, although this theme is only touched on lightly in the site’s design, courtesy of a cartoon kangaroo.

Ripper Casino Games

To navigate through the site, you can click on a variety of category headings, such as Pokies, Scratch Cards or Casino Games. Curiously, there are also Hot and Cold categories, suggesting that the site is encouraging players to believe that games can be ‘hot’ or ‘cold’ which is obviously not the case, given that all of the games at Ripper Casino are run by Random Number Generators.

The other issue with the Ripper Casino gaming platform is the lack of choice on offer. There are 18 different software developers represented, but only just over 300 games available. The collection includes some entertaining titles such as Aloha King Elvis and Minotaur Wilds, and there are plenty of Bonus Buy and Megaways games here, but most of the major slot games are missing.

It’s a similar story in the table game area. Of the 48 games here, most are standard blackjack and roulette variants, and there are just a handful of alternatives such as Joker Poker and Plinko. There is also an absence of live casino options, which is a glaring oversight in the modern gambling world.

Ripper Banking and Support

The Ripper Casino banking section is well designed, making it easy for players to find their preferred payment options, although there is an unusual balance to the range of brands available.

You can make deposits and withdrawals using Visa, Bank Transfer and Mastercard, along with four of the major cryptocurrencies, but there are very few e-wallet alternatives. That said, the choice is big enough that most players will be able to find an option they can use.

Withdrawal speeds at Ripper Casino seem to be reasonable, and within what we’d expect for a modern site, and there are no fees associated with either deposits or withdrawals. The weekly withdrawal limit of $2,000 however is quite low, as is the $8,000 monthly limit, although this is only likely to be a serious issue for high rollers.

As for customer support, we were impressed with the player friendly nature of the support section, which provides you with email or live chat contact options, along with a handy FAQ section.

Ozwin Casino

Ozwin Casino is one of the direct sister sites to Ripper Casino, and they have a lot in common, being both targeted at the Australian market. Ozwin Casino is a year older than its sister site, and it offers around the same number of gaming options, although it has a much higher withdrawal limit of $7,000 per week, which seems a curious anomaly.

Ripper Casino Conclusion

There are some positive aspects of the Ripper Casino site, including the range of banking options, player-friendly layout and strong customer support, but the limited number of games on offer here is disappointing and the licence uncertainty may also limit the site’s wider appeal.
